The origin of the "Cuerda-Seca" (Dry rope) technique goes back to medieval times when the great cities of Southern Spain, such as Cordoba or Seville, were the main centers of Western art and culture. In this environment, expert master ceramists combined two noble materials: gold and enamel, to create extraordinary works of art today appreciated all over the world
